elizabethW's environmental consciousness is directed toward the principles of sustainable sourcing, quality ingredients, well-being, and aesthetics. The company handcrafts its collections in its Russian Hill workshop, located less than a mile away from Ghirardelli Square, allowing its artisans to walk to work and keeping its carbon footprint at a minimum. elizabeth W's packaging can be recycled and encourages sustainability. It meets FSC standards for the protection of forests and their ecosystems; harvest waste is minimized, water and animal habitats are protected, and every acre harvested is replenished.
